Physical Products

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us at hello@sensationalsewing.com.au. Please note that returns will need to be sent to: 2A + 2B Station Street, Toowoomba, QLD, 4350, Australia.

If your return is accepted, we'll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so we can make it right.

We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at hello@sensationalsewing.com.au.

Digital Products

No Returns Policy

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of digital sewing patterns are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on digital downloads.

This policy applies because:

  • Digital files are delivered instantly upon purchase and cannot be "returned"

  • Once a file has been downloaded or accessed, we have no way to verify it has been deleted

Please read all pattern descriptions carefully before purchasing. If you have questions about sizing, difficulty level, or what's included in a pattern, please contact us at hello@sensationalsewing.com.au before completing your purchase — we're happy to help.

Australian Consumer Law Our no-refund policy on digital products does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a digital product is faulty, not as described, or fails to work as intended, you may be entitled to a remedy. Please contact us at hello@sensationalsewing.com.au and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
